Design was always in the back of our minds however. Eventually, when an opportunity came along we seized it full on and the result was our first restaurant fit-out, il Pirata on the Newtownards road.
With a week's notice before work on-site began and a budget a fraction of the industry standard we did a good job we think. il Pirata nestled with the big boys as a short-lister on the prestigious, Restaurant and Bar Awards 2012, held at the RIBA in London. Not bad eh?
Located in North Belfast, just off the Antrim Road, Oscar&Oscar has become a better version of what we had in our heads last year. Our Hopefield Avenue premises is a big rambling space full of class furniture and salvaged items so come down and have a gander and a coffee. If you're lucky either, or both Oscar's will be there too. Our building is also home to local artists, Puncture Belfast and Dollybirds Art.
