A 6 seater teak dining suite from the renowned Mid Century furniture makers A. H. McIntosh & Co. A complete set of 6 chairs and dining table which extends via a double butterfly leaf system to a length of 235 cms. Chairs are in solid teak with elegantly tapered legs and sculpted backrest in the style of Yngve Ekstrom and retain original wool upholstery in gold & brown.
Chair and table joints are all solid with no movement or wobbles. The table and all chair frames have a beautiful patina & seem seldom used. The table leaves slide smoothly on their rails and the butterfly mechanism functions well. The original seat coverings, are all in as-new, condition and look fantastic alongside the aged teak frames. Overall condition is excellent with very minor marks due to age and use.
